Admissions

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria. Each application is assessed individually by our admissions team.

Academic Requirements

  • A-level pass or equivalent qualification
  • BTEC Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
  • Other related Level 3 qualifications
  • Access to Higher Education Certificate
  • Related work experience (considered on individual merit)

English Language Requirement

  • IELTS 5.5 overall — reading and writing must be at 5.5
  • Equivalent: PTE, NCFE, City & Guilds, Cambridge or ESOL
  • Initial assessment of English at Level 2 also acceptable

How You Will Learn

Teaching, Learning & Assessment

21 hours of weekly attendance during term-time, plus 8–10 hours of recommended home study per week. All lecture notes and staff engagement are available via Moodle VLE.

Assessment

Pass Merit Distinction

All units are individually graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction. Assessment is primarily assignment-based, internally marked with Internal Verification checks and external verification by Edexcel.
