How You Will Study

Our teaching approach is designed to build practical, transferable skills alongside the academic knowledge required for your qualification.

Weekly Contact Hours

21 hours of scheduled weekly attendance during term-time, delivered through lectures, tutorials and case studies.

8–10h

Independent Study

8 to 10 hours of recommended weekly self-study to consolidate learning and prepare assignments and presentations.

Assessment Grades

Assignments are graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction. Assessment includes pitches, presentations and written work.

Collaborative Working

Programmes emphasise collaborative working and entrepreneurial skills through group projects and real-world case studies.

Personal development planning is embedded throughout the curriculum to help you build professional skills and self-awareness.

Modules Completed

A minimum of 16 modules completed across both years, starting from Level 4 (HNC) and progressing to Level 5 (HND).

Admissions

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements are the same across all three programmes. Applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria.

Academic Requirements

  • A-level pass or equivalent qualification
  • BTEC Level 3 business qualification
  • Related Level 3 qualifications
  • Access to Higher Education Certificate
  • Relevant work experience (considered on individual merit)

English Language Requirement

  • IELTS 5.5 minimum overall (reading and writing at 5.5)
  • Equivalent demonstrated English proficiency accepted
  • Alternative assessments considered for non-IELTS applicants
